Double acting seal for static and dynamic applications. Q-Rings have lower friction than O-Rings and increased resistance to rolling in the gland.
Available in various elastomers for both Aerospace / Military specifications and general purpose. PolyMod® and UltraMod™ low friction Q-Rings are recommended for applications requiring low friction and improved wear. PolyMod® Q-Rings are available in all materials except silicone and fluorosilicone. UltraMod™ Q-Rings are available in fluoroelastomer compounds only.
Operating Ranges:
- Pressure: Up to 7,250 PSI (50 MPa) and higher, depending on gap sizes
- Temperature range: Approximately -65°F to +392°F (-54°C to +200°C), depending on the elastomer choice
