Rod wear rings are used to guide the rod in the cylinder. FluoroDiamond™ refers to a special surface structure which is provided on the sliding surface only. The advantages are improvement of the lubrication properties, no stick-slip effect, higher load capacity, and wear-resistance.
Rod Wear Rings are available in most PolyFluor™ and some PolyTel™ materials.
Operating Ranges:
- Speed: Up to 49 ft/s (15 m/s)
- Temperature: -76°F to +392°F (-60°C to +200°C)
- Permissible surface pressure: Maximum 6,600 PSI (46 MPa), depending on temperature
