Elastomeric square ring for direct contact static seals, cap energizers and in special applications - dynamic seals. These seals have high sealing efficiency and shape stability. PolyMod® and UltraMod™ low friction Square Rings are preferred for dynamic applications.
Available in many nitriles, ethylene propylene and fluoroelastomer formulations. UltraMod™ low friction Square Rings are only available in fluoroelastomer materials.
Operating Ranges:
- Pressure: Up to 7,250 PSI (50 MPa) and higher, depending on gap sizes
- Temperature range: Approximately -65°F to +392°F (-54°C to +200°C), depending on the elastomer choice
