Radial lip seal for shafts and spindles. These consist of an elastomer sleeve, metal stiffening ring and a spiral tensioning spring. PolyMod® and UltraMod™ Oil Seals provide low friction and long-lasting sealing efficiency. They are self-retaining in open recess housings and can be run dry.
These can be supplied in nitrile and fluoroelastomers.
Operating Ranges:
- Speed: Up to approximately 98 ft/s (30 m/s)
- Temperature: Approximately -40°F to +350°F (-40°C to +180°C), depending on the elastomer compound
- Pressure: Up to 7 psi (0.05 MPa)
