Single acting sealing element comprising a PolyFluor™ U-shaped ring and a metal spring energizer. This is for use in radial-static applications with external pressure. The FluoroFlex™ External Seal has highly specific surface pressure which provides for very good sealing action. It can be gas-tight even at low temperatures. FluoroFlex™ seals are resistant to most liquids and chemicals.
FluoroFlex™ seals are available in most PolyFluor™ materials.
Operating Ranges:
- Temperature: Approximately -238°F to +440°F (-150°C to +225°C)
- Pressure: Up to 5,000 PSI (35 MPa)
